At a distance of about an hour from Thessaloniki is the magnificent beach of Akti Sani. With clear blue, shallow waters and golden sand, the beach of Akti Sani is one of the most beautiful beaches not only in Kassandra but in the whole of Halkidiki. It is the right place to enjoy your bath.

Next stop is Afitos

Just 15 minutes away from Akti Sani is the traditional village of Afitos. The cobbled alleys, the stone houses, the small squares, the shops with the local products, the cafes and the taverns create a beautiful picturesque landscape. But what steals the show in Afitos is the incredible view of the turquoise waters of Toroneos gulf and the green Sithonia. The best choice for food are the fish taverns of the village, which have fresh fish, delicious local products and the best view. You can also enjoy the beautiful beach of the village or relax in a cafe.

Last stop is Kallithea

Just 3 km from Afitos is the cosmopolitan Kallithea, the last stop of our suggestion. Kallithea is the largest shopping center in Halkidiki. In the main pedestrian street of the village you can find many shops such as fur shops, clothing stores, travel agencies, gold shops, souvenir shops, restaurants, fast food shops, cafes, taverns, bars and much more. Kallithea is the ideal place for a walk in the shops and for a coffee before you start for your return to Thessaloniki (travel time: about an hour and 15 minutes).
